Congratulations, John!

It is with great joy that we celebrate John, who has recently graduated with a National Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. Congratulations, John!

John is a wonderful example of what Karis hopes to see. Through the support of Karis in both the UK and Kampala, he has been able to attend school, work hard, grow in confidence, and pursue his ambitions. He now steps forward with real opportunity to seek employment and build a secure future.

We praise God for all that has been made possible in John’s life.

As students like John complete their education and move towards employment or other ventures, the Karis office begins to assess what we call “Finishing Well”. This means helping families prepare for a sustainable future, where they are able to support themselves.

The team in Kampala is currently working on a number of Finishing Well plans, prayerfully considering which families may be ready to take this next step and become independent.
