Event Description
Join Karis Kids and Bishop Zac (co-founder of Karis Kids) for a special leadership conference as we celebrate 15 years of Karis Kids fighting poverty through long-term partnerships between Uganda and the UK.

Bishop Zac Niringiye
& Co-Founder
Bishop Dr. D. Zac Niringiye is a theologian, pastor, and activist from Uganda. He previously served as Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Kampala, before moving full-time towards civic-political and social justice work. Last August, Bishop Zac was brutally mugged in Kampala under suspicious circumstances. His outspoken advocacy for justice frequently put his life in danger from Uganda’s authoritarian regime.
He is the author of the book, “The Church: God’s Pilgrim People” (2014) and his doctoral monograph “The Church in the World: A Historical-Ecclesiological Study of the Church of Uganda” was published in 2016 by Langham Monographs. Bishop Zac holds a PhD in Theology and Mission History from the University of Edinburgh, was previously a Senior Fellow at Regent’s College (Vancouver, Canada), and presently a Visiting Scholar in Residence at Fuller Theological Seminary (California, U.S.A.). He is married to Theodora and they have three children.

Will Law is the UK Champion for Karis Kids. He has supported the charity since it began and is now helping strengthen the ministry in the UK.
He attends a Vineyard Church in south-west London and is currently studying a Masters in Theology with Westminster Theological Centre.
Other members of the Karis Kids UK team will also share.
