what makes us different

Churchlink

Two things make us different:

  1. we are working through local churches in the UK and Uganda
  2. we are supporting whole families as opposed to supporting individual children, or forming orphanages.

Local Churches

Our hope is that as UK Churches we can encourage and empower local Churches in Uganda to partner with us in reaching the orphans on their doorstep.

Family Centred

Psalm 68 v6 says “God sets the lonely in FAMILIES”.

Orphanages provide a safe place for orphans, but they are alien to an African’s sense of belonging, where family and clan are all important. We try and support orphans within extended family settings where possible, and where not, to find adoptive families from within the Ugandan church.
